The Eleventh Annual Buffalo Cherry Blossom Festival will be held the weekend of April 27 - 28, 2024 at the Japanese Garden in Delaware Park. The festival’s highlight is a ‘hanami’ (cherry blossom viewing) in the garden. Activities during the weekend include live music, pink boat rides, taiko drumming, a pink parade, origami, Japanese cultural displays and food trucks. A pop-up Tea Ceremony will be held on the Portico of the Buffalo History Museum, overlooking the Garden during full bloom. Entrance to the festival is free of charge.
