The 2-day indoor event will take place in the small-town of Ennepetal, Germany, next to Wuppertal and Hagen, 50 km outside of Düsseldorf. It’s a -day Christian rock indoor festival, with 17 Christian rock bands to perform in front of about 1,200 fans attending. Many of them come from all over Germany and adjacent countries, in particular Holland and Switzerland. It’s a pretty much international crowd. The festival has been hosted by CVJM Ennepetal Rüggeberg e.V. from its beginnings in 1980 till today, and throughout all the years it took place at the venue “Haus Ennepetal”, which is the communal centre for the cultural life in the town. There are 4 areas, mainstage on the first floor, a much smaller sidestage on the ground floor, an area for the meet & greets with all bands and another area for the bands’ merch. So there is always the choice for the people attendiing to see a band either on mainstage or sidestage or to meet the musicians. The doors open on Friday at 16:30 hrs, first band to be on stage at 17:00 hrs. On Saturday doors open at 14:30 hrs, bands playing form 15:00 hrs until the end of the festival at shortly after midnight. On Saturday midday there is a service in a nearby church, we welcome Joseph Rojas of Seventh Day Slumber for the sermon and a couple of guys from Wolves At The Gate to play some acoustic and worship songs. For those who need a simple way of staying over night, we open a gym where up to 150 can stay. If interested you need to take along a sleeping bag and a pad or an air mattress. The accommodation ticket for the stay at the gym includes breakfast on the next morning at the rooms of the DRK. You can buy both tickets fot the event and the accommodation tickets at the festival’s website where you can pay via PayPal. Living in Germany you can also pay with credit card and direct debit. Furtheron tickets are available via Truetickets.nl and cevents.eu. Foreign guests from countries further away can also reserve tickets at the box office (day tickets, but not presale tickets). In Germany, Austria and Switzerland ticket buyers get a physical copy of the tickets via post. At the festival we serve drinks and food, you are not allowed to take drinks or meals into the venue. The nearest railroad station is “Ennepetal” at the lines R4, R7 and R13, with a possible change into long-distance trains (ICE, IC/EC) at Wuppertal and Hagen, or at Düsseldorf and Cologne. Nearest airport is Düsseldorf international airport, where you can take a train to Düsseldorf main station, and from there change train to Ennepetal (RE4, RE 13). In Schwelm or Gevelsberg you can take the S8, being operated until late at night. Please check at bahn.de or the Navigator app by Deutsche Bahn.
