Catch a sunrise set
Surprising sounds erupt from the Late Night Lodge as darkness gives way to daylight. C'mon, you can always catch up on sleep later.
Hobnob with Dirtybird's artists
Some teach yoga classes, some teach pizza-making skills, while others join tug-of-war contests or judge the talent show. It's easy to cross paths with your DJ heroes at the Campout.
Hit the bullseye
Where else can you unlock your inner Katniss Everdeen on an archery field – and maybe win a prize in the process?
Listen to ghost stories around the campfire
You'll need to be awake at 3 am, which is when the fun begins, but hey, gooey s'mores accompany the tall tales.
Take a class in a teepee
Screen-printing, body-painting, knot-tying and other arts and crafts workshops happen among the cone-shaped tents. Or send a note to friends from the postcard-writing station.
Getting There
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the main place to fly into, where a shuttle bus makes the 50-mile drive from the airport to the fest site. There's also a shuttle bus from San Francisco, San Diego or Los Angeles. If you’re headed to Dirtybird Campout East, fly into Orlando International Airport, then drive about 50 minutes on the E Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway to Forever Florida Adventure Park.
Lodging
It's a campout, so you gotta bring your tent! The fest also has packages available where it will provide gear and set it up.
