The Gaithersburg Book Festival is a free annual celebration of great books and great writing that has made its mark as one of the nation’s top literary events. Nearly 100 featured best-selling and award-winning authors – including Tom Angleberger, Alan Gratz, Meena Harris, Michio Kaku, Susan Page, Dave Roman, Lisa Scottoline and Deborah Wiles – will participate in presentations and panel discussions throughout the month of May. Other activities include interactive writing workshops via Zoom. Being held virtually in 2021, the Festival will feature programming on its YouTube channel.
