Be a campsite DJ
Whatever your opinion of the evening’s line-up, you can tailor the tunes to your liking when you get to the campground. Bring 30-minutes worth of favorite tunes and sign-up at your nearby campsite office.
Be silent
Snag one of the 6,000 sets of headphones at the SilentArena tents and keep the party going late into the night.
Add variety
At both Reading & Leeds, there is cinema tent that plays films throughout the night.
Buy a program
Don’t miss your favorite band because you were trying to save money for beer.
Leave the white shirts at home
You can expect sweat, mud, and beer to get the better of your clothes and shoes over the weekend. Try an old Reading & Leeds Festival T-shirt instead. As with any British Festival, bring your wellies.
If you prefer to fly
The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA). After arrival head to the Leeds Railway Station by taxi or Metroconnect 757 bus service. From there catch the shuttle bus to Bramham Park.
To take the train
Book your ticket to Leeds Railway Station and catch the shuttle bus to the festival. Both transport tickets can be booked online from First TransPennine Express. Shuttle buses will be running to Bramham Park from Leeds City Railway Station and Leeds Coach Station. From York Station, there is a shuttle on Thursday that returns to the station on Monday.
The festival campsites
are designated by color names. If peace and quiet is worth anything to you, pitch your tent in the “Brown zone.” There is also a camper van area. There are toilets at the campsites and showers in the Village.
Upscale campers
should reserve their place in the Pink Moon Camping oasis. Their furnished “podpads” offer a luxurious twist on the tent concept
