Getting There
There’s always a billion flights going in and out of New York City. Both LaGuardia Airport and JFK International Airport are within 20 miles of the festival venue, although the former is a bit closer. NYC has the best public transportation system in the country, so either rely on a taxi, the subway or a rideshare to get you there.
Lodging
NYC is always busy; there’s a reason it’s known as the city that never sleeps, but that doesn’t mean you can’t. There are hotels, hostels, Airbnbs and countless other lodging options for all budgets everywhere in the city. Stay as close as you can to the venue.
Take Risks
Good filmmakers take risks, and you should as well by expanding your horizons at NYCIFF. Watch anything and everything you can regardless of genre or country of origin; you may be surprised by what’s out there.
