So much music, so much fun. Every year in June, music takes over Burlington Downtown and Waterfront. The largest local music event of the year features an eclectic combination of emerging artists, blasts from the past and current performers. A mix of free and ticketed shows continue all over town for nine days. Activities include a ticketed Kick-off Concert, Canada 150 Day celebrations, Sound of Music Club Series, Grande Festival Parade, Downtown Streetfest, Children’s Village, carnival, vendors and FREE concerts on Father's Day Weekend! Bring the whole family, you’ll find something for everyone. Sound of Music Festival is thrilled to be named Tourism Event of Year, awarded by Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO). This honour is a reflection of the Festival’s growth and success, only made possible by the incredible dedication of our volunteers, the continued support of our fans and the generosity of our sponsors and partners.
