Getting There
If you can’t locate our nation’s capital on a map, you’re a lost cause. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, and Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport are the area’s primary airports, but the former is closest to the festival. Wherever your plane lands, be sure to take advantage of DC’s extensive public transportation system (Metrobus, Metrorail, etc.). Because DC traffic can be an absolute nightmare, the festival has partnered with Lyft and Metro to help you out!
Lodging
The organizers recommend checking Hotel Guides for hotels near RFK Stadium. Given this is DC, you should have no trouble finding a decent place to stay.
Brainfood
Taste of DC has partnered with Brainfood, a DC-based non-profit organization that uses the power of food to educate young’uns about healthy living. Kids also get to participate in cooking demonstrations, which hopefully means they’ll learn enough to cook you dinner sometime!
Pay with your wrist!
TasteBands eliminate the need for cash and credit cards. Just load “Taste Tokens” onto your TasteBand and you’re ready to devour everything in sight.
