The Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Tipton Ford is the anchor event for a truly sweet and special weekend of events in Nacogdoches. The festival is an ultimate celebration of the blueberry harvest season. The blueberry takes the center stage in the form of blueberry pancakes, pies, cobblers, ice cream and more. The blueberry farm opens to pickers of all ages followed by blueberry-themed competitions including the classic pie eating contest, cupcake battle, the Mr. and Miss. Blueberry Pageant and a Running of the Blueberries 5k run/walk. Other features include Cookin' Up the Blues cooking demos, live entertainment stages, kids activities such as the Blueberry Bounce Park, crafts, pet parade, quilt show and more.
