One of the largest Master Sand Sculpting Contests in the US. Watch as Master and Semi Pro sculptors create beautiful art from tons of sand on the beach of Port Aransas, Texas. One entry fee gets you in all three days! Family friendly event featuring magnificent art, over 100 vendors, yummy food, cold brew, live music, 4-story wet slide & bungee jump rides, Amateur Sand Sculpting Contest, Lesson Mountain and much more! Proceeds from the festival are given back to the local and surrounding communities.... in 2018, $316,000 was given to local non-profits, charities and high school scholarships. We encourage our guests to leave their pets at home... but, pets are allowed, on a leash. Please note that the beach environment can be difficult for our furry friends... the heat, sand, wind, lack of water and shade plus thousands of unfamiliar people may cause some pets anxiety. Only medically-required, wheeled vehicles and wagons or strollers are allowed on event grounds...NO autos, golf carts, bicycles, or similar, will be allowed through the gates.
