COLUMBUS, OHIO – Let your Aloha spirit out and discover the Hula Hop on Saturday, August 10th, at the corner of Grant Avenue and Long Street in the Discovery District. This Tiki-themed festival features a full day of festivities, including tropical cocktails, craft beer, food trucks, vendors, creative entertainment and live music on our outdoor stage. Help us celebrate the final days of the Grass Skirt Tiki Room in a grand fashion. While your here, visit "George", the iconic monkey fountain from Columbus' famed Kahiki Restaurant. Admission is FREE! This year's talent includes DJ Lady Sandoval, Shorty Allen (Columbus), The Artists Wrestling League, Psycho Charger (New York City), The AmpFibians (Cincinnati), Mummula (Columbus) and the MethMatics (Columbus). A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Cure CMD. Cure CMD is a 503(C)(3) non-profit organization that was formed by parents whose children have been affected with congenital muscular dystrophy.
