Like so many others, this year's US Oyster Festival is going virtual. The National Oyster Cook-Off will be an oyster cooking demonstration this year, using the Judge's Choice recipe, chosen from those submitted for this year's cookbook. Watch for announcement details on the website and the Facebook page. The National Oyster Shucking Competition has been cancelled and the reigning champion will carry his title into 2021 since he will not be allowed to participate in the International event this year. We wll be doing a virtual competition just for fun the weekend of October 17-18 so watch for that announcement as well. We will see you back in person in October 2021!
