Summerfest is an annual concert fundraiser to raise funds for the restoration of historic White Sulphur Springs Ranch located in Plumas County California near the town of Clio. This historic ranch is more than 160 years old and was the first ranch settlement in the beautiful Mohawk Valley. The ranch played a significant role in the development of gold mining in the 1800's and was a historic stage coach stop on the run from Truckee to Quincy for several decades. Scheduled restoration projects include development of a community swimming pool and changing facilities on the ranch to accommodate disabled children and veterans. This pool is both unique and historic in that it will continue to be filled with naturally heated spring waters that flow from the Sierra Nevada mountains on the property just as the original swimming pool was in the 1800's.
