From its art and its history, to its food and festivals, China’s culture reaches far beyond the borders of the great Asian country. You can find a profusion of Chinese culture from the heart of Beijing, to the streets of New York and San Francisco. Because of this, there is probably a Chinese festival nearby. You can celebrate Chinese New Year in cities around the world, from Hong Kong Chinese New Year, to the Cleveland Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration; or, visit a lantern festival in the Pingxi District of New Taipei City in Taiwan, or Los Angeles. Then there are the dragon boat festivals, which take place in cities all over the United States, from the San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival, to the Washington D.C. Dragon Boat Festival. Chinese festivals offer everything from traditional foods and music, to elegant dances and gorgeous lights.
