Sorry, no festivals here.
Festivals in the Philippines are loud, bright, energetic and parade-driven. Humility in costumes does not come to Filipinos. Locals love to dress up in extravagant attire and march down streets in celebration. Most Filipino festivals tap on their Catholic roots and celebrate saints and their savior. The blend of Spanish and Asian influence account for a very unique festival experience. By combining vastly different cultures, the result is one only found on the islands.
