The Austin Festival Scene

Austin is famously touted as the Live Music Capital of the World, but the Austin music festival scene is just the tip of a festival iceberg that can go toe-to-toe with any city in the world. It is a big (and rapidly growing) city that somehow still manages to feel small when you want it to, and its festivals follow suit. Most will know the mega festivals like SXSW, Austin City Limits and the Texas Book Festival, but nearly every week is packed to the brim with smaller events of all kinds. The diverse community, latent nostalgia and laid-back culture of weird converge in a festival calendar that will always give you something new to discover.
