We love festivals of all shapes and sizes, but there's something particularly charming about the more intimate gatherings held deep in the forest or on a bucolic farm.

Well, lucky for us it was just announced that Justin Vernon of Bon Iver is planning a music festival of his own to take place in his hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The Eaux Claire Music and Arts Festival will be produced by Crashline Productions, who also stage the popular Boston Calling festival.

Eaux Claire Music & Arts Festival is scheduled to take place on July 17 and 18, 2015 on Foster Farm, where camping will be available as well. The permit allows for up to 25,000 attendees per day, and rumor has it that there will be three different stages, although the lineup has yet to be announced. Eaux Claire conveniently falls just before Pitchfork in Chicago, though, so perhaps there's a chance that some of the artists will make the 300-mile trek to play both festivals...

Either way, we'll be staying tuned for more details on what sounds like a great new festival!
