Croatia will continue to rule Europe's festival scene in 2017 with the addition of another new event, called Labyrinth Open. Just a couple of weeks ago we announced the arrival of Croatia Winter Music Festival , with Armin Van Buuren headlining, among other EDM luminaries. Now, we have a Belgian promotion outfit starting up a brand new outdoor event in Omiš, 25 kilometres south-east of Split.

Croatia is already home to a plethora of events, including Outlook (main image), Dimensions, Hideout, Defected, Love International, Dekmantel Selectors, Electric Elephant, Fresh Island and many, many more.

Scheduled to run for four days in July of next year, the event is being curated by Labyrinth Productions, the creative team behind Extrema Outdoor and Labyrinth Club in Belgium. Every day will feature workshops, talks and guest speakers as well as high quality music in one of the most beautiful spots in Europe, right on the Adriatic Coast

We can vouch for the pristine conditions in the region, amazing weather, affordability and great landscapes everywhere you look – plus the Croatians are a cool bunch. The organisers have acquired an entire campsite for festies that offers luxury housing, multiple swimming pools and direct access to the seaside. A small festie community is likely to be the product of this ingenious move and bound to create a warm, open atmosphere at the event.

Running from July 8-10, there is no lineup announcement as yet, but watch this space or keep checking their website for more news.
