Just off New York City's mainland, spirited music lovers made Randall's Island Park home this past weekend for Governors Ball Music Festival ("GovBall" to fans), now in its seventh year as New York's east coast megafest, with a production pedigree on par with California's west coast behomoth Coachella.
More than one hundred thousand festies came through for Eminem, Jack White, N.E.R.D, Travis Scott, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silk City (Diplo + Mark Ronson), Kali Uchis, Sylvan Esso, Maggie Rogers, Post Malone, CHVRCHES, Third Eye Blind, Shawn Mendes, Halsey and dozens more with free-flowing, good energy, despite scattered rain throughout the fest, and full-on rain through Eminem's set on Sunday night.
Roll below for snaps of GovBall's Statue of Liberty, wild rail-riders, Maggie Rogers, Pharrell, Travis Scott, sunset shots from backstage, and more.
