For many, the experience of losing a loved one is a private practice. For Mexicans, however, death is a fact of life, celebrated through a dedication to the deceased. In San Francisco's Mission District, this year's Día de los Muertos was celebrated with altars, festive costumes, face paint and a parade, all honoring those we've lost. Dijon Bowden of Souls of San Francisco joined the masses to document this beautiful festival.
