The biggest little festival in the country just unleashed its 2015 line-up and it's got something for fans of every musical style. Treasure Island Music Festival sports a unique set-up where there's zero artist overlap. When an act on the Bridge Stage ends, the music at the Tunnel Stage begins; this melodic dance continues throughout two wonderful days of music, arts, people and food.

With a max of 18,000 people per day, it's as smooth as festivals come and the level of talent is just as high as a fest thrice its size. Take a look at the gorgeous poster with this year's lineup and peep some of our picks below:

Treasure Island 2015

Swinging For The Fences

You gotta hand it to Noise Pop & Another Planet Entertainment for getting Robyn & La Bagatelle Magique for their only North American appearance in 2015. Deadmau5 last played the fest in 2011 and he'll surely have to one-up that appearance with a funky audio/visual display. STS9 is gonna bring a whole new audience to the fest and we like that. We like that very much – 'cause nothing is more exciting than fans of different types of music coming together to connect and party together at a fest.

Ax Shredders

There's an impressive slew of guitar rock bands, headed by Deerhunter, who are led by flamboyant frontman Bradford Cox, one of the best guitar players in indie rock. Canadian newcomers Viet Cong put out a ridiculously awesome self-titled album this year that absolutely kills live. Power post-punk chicks, Ex Hex, have a sweet 90's throwback sound (think Sleater-Kinney) that's ripe for head-banging and finally, smooth acoustic Swedish crooner Jose Gonzalez will relax the shit outta you, if only for an hour, before what's sure to be two raucous evenings.

A Well-Curated Electronic Slate

Seriously, TIMF nailed this one. Between Hudson Mohawke's anthems, a LIVE Gorgon City set and the twisted and psychedelic world of Animal Collective's Panda Bear, you're never gonna be bored.

The Best Hip-Hop Act in The Game

Run The Jewels, Run The Jewels, Run The Jewels. Can you tell we're excited? Killer Mike and El-P are the realest cats in hip-hop right now. They're music is super conscious and they're politically charged raps are sure to resonate with the highly liberal Bay Area crowd. They're also two of the most charismatic and engaging figures both on and off the internet.

Father John Misty's Hips

Three years ago at Outside Lands Festival , I posted up at the tiny Panhandle Stage in hopes of hearing the new single from Father John Misty, "Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings." As I watched the entire set waiting for what ended up being the eventual closing song (surprise), we were all mesmerized by how FJM commanded the crowd and moved like he was channeling his inner belly dancer. Dude has so much soul and it's a pleasure to watch him sing and move on stage in Morrison-esque fashion.

Smile, You're On An Island!

Never does the feeling of where you are evade you on Treasure Island. The festival grounds are along the Bay, staring out at the San Francisco sky line. The sunsets over the Bay are just as much a part of the festival as the music or the 60-foot Century Ferris Wheel or the beautiful art installations. Soak it up!
