About Atlanta

It’s time to get down and dirty in the Deep South. Atlanta (ATL, Hotlanta, etc.) is one of the most exciting cities in the country, yet newer generations are fascinated by its ever-popular crunk music scene. Rest assured that Lil Jon’s intricate lyricism doesn't speak for all of Atlanta, but it certainly demonstrates how much fun the Deep South can be. ATL’s massive, multicultural population accounts for the endless number of unique experiences one can have here. Best of all, Southern hospitality complements the impressive diversity no matter where you go; it’s this warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes Atlanta a great place to get your fest on. Locals rave about the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, while music fans flock to Music Midtown, both held in beautiful Piedmont Park. Other nationally recognized festivals include the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Atlanta Pride and the Academy Award-qualifying Atlanta Film Festival.

Top Atlanta Festivals

Atlanta Dogwood Festival
Piedmont Park
One of the most beautiful flowers in the southeast, it makes sense to have a whole festival that acknowledges the dogwood flower's aesthetic beauty. This local favorite features a renowned juried arts show, local eats from Atlanta restaurants and loads of children's activities. And, of course, the festival is surrounded by flowering dogwoods in peak season.

Grant Park Summer Shade Festival
Grant Park

Beyond film screenings, there are screenplay readings, panel discussions and happy hours for all to enjoy.
