About Columbus, OH

Smack dab in the middle of the Buckeye State is a Midwestern treasure that doesn’t get enough love from Americans. Aptly named after famous Italian explorer Christopher Columbus, Ohio’s capital city is chock-full of exciting adventures waiting to be discovered. From Buckeye Sports, the Scioto Mile to the world-renowned Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, there’s plenty to keep you busy from the moment you arrive. However, you’re curious about the festivals, and we’re happy to report that Columbus delivers on that front as well. For starters, Columbusites kick off the summer season with the Park Street Festival, a ginormous block party complete with bands, brews and good vibes. It would be criminal if we didn’t mention the Ohio State Fair, one of the largest state fairs in the United States with nearly a million people attending over the course of two weeks. With nationally known art and science museums and a perfect riverfront setting, Columbus offers something for everyone.
