Despite a rocky year for Mysteryland's parent company SFX Entertainment, the Netherlands mega-festival soldiered on to unveil a 2016 event that hinted at no internal strife whatsoever.

Mysteryland is about colour, music and celebration on a grand scale. With stages that dwarf the DJs and dancers in front of them, ultra slick production and a site that covers acres of ground, it is one of the highlights of the summer in Holland and this year brought in a cast of performers to leave even the most jaded festie drooling with anticipation.

Stars like Diplo, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Seth Troxler, Dave Clarke and lots more dazzled the vast crowds, – at least 50,000 people partied all day and night. In fact, it's the people who are the most important part of the experience at Mysteryland, the wonderfully diverse, open-hearted, music-loving attendees who travel from far and wide to give the festival its character, its heartbeat...its soul.
