Fort Worth, sometimes called Cowtown, is where the American west begins. Residents prefer to keep away from the city slicker way of life in neighboring Dallas. Instead, they revel in the traditions established decades and even centuries ago. You’ll see ten gallon hats, boots, horses, big trucks and a hankering for a good time. If you pardon the heat, love music, cold beer and good ol' Texas culture, then you’ll love festivals here. You might even leave saying “y’all”.
